🥛🍊🍦Orange Blossom Water Infused Ice Cream 🥛🍊🍦

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange blossom water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base: In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Do not let the mixture boil.

  2. Infuse with Flavor: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the orange blossom water, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to ensure the flavors are evenly distributed.

  3. Chill the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a bowl and place it in the refrigerator. Allow it to chill for at least 2 hours, or until completely cold. This step is crucial for achieving a smooth texture in the final product.

  4. Churn the Ice Cream: Once the mixture is chilled, pour it into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on your machine.

  5. Freeze to Set: Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container. Cover the surface with a piece of plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming. Seal the container with its lid and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
